Tjeerd Veenhoven
information
Tjeerd Veenhoven enjoys experimenting with materials and production techniques. In a playful, freestyle way these experiments turn in to products, showing that form and beauty can be derived from an inventors brain. In his opinion a designer should design from scratch as often as possible and should try to avoid restyling products just to make them more trendy. The creative mind of a designer should focus on renewing peoples view on everyday products.
He does this by inventing and experimenting in the early stages of design and thereby creating eclectic pieces which each a specific qualities. Beauty is a subjective thing, function not always as relevant, development and perseverance most crucial of all.
